MILWAUKEE (October 27, 2009) – Milwaukee County’s General Mitchell International Airport is introducing its new SuperSaver parking lot (formerly the Remote Lot) with a 24-hour rate of $5, including sales tax. The SuperSaver lot, with free and convenient shuttle service directly to the airport terminal, is the lowest cost parking option at Mitchell Airport. The lot is easily accessible from the airport spur and Howell Avenue. New signs direct drivers to the location.

“With so many great low-fare airline options from Mitchell, we want to offer travelers a convenient and affordable experience from the moment they arrive at the airport,” said Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker.

In addition to SuperSaver parking, Mitchell Airport continues to offer Hourly covered parking for $2 per hour ($22 per day max), Daily covered parking for $12 per day and adjacent Surface parking (with Cell Phone lot) for $13 per day. The first 30 minutes of parking in the Hourly and Surface lots are free.

Mitchell Airport’s 12 airlines offer nonstop flights to 50 cities and one-stop connections to major cities throughout the world.
