Holiday passenger numbers up 44 percent at MKE

The tree isn’t the only thing being trimmed at MKE this holiday. Elf-sized airfares and parking costs are attracting holiday travelers in droves. More than 250,000 travelers are expected to use MKE between December 19 and January 3, a 41.3 percent increase over last year. The busiest days? December 23 and the Monday after Christmas, with 19,160 and 19,138 passengers, respectively.
