A Little Nip Here, a Little Tuck There...Concourse C Gets a Facelift

With the precision of a team of surgeons, Milwaukee County officials participated in a ceremonial groundbreaking for the new Concourse C Renovation. Over the last 15 years, Mitchell has invested more than $210 million in expansion efforts to provide additional gates for more flights, terminal amenities with new shops and restaurants, and a parking garage expansion.

Much more than a nip and tuck job, this new renovation promises a polished and youthful look for Concourse C just in time for the 2005 holiday travel season. Improvements include: 

- increased footage, from 65,500 to 96,000 square feet
- increased airline gate hold room areas
- a widened security checkpoint with increased throughput capacity
- additional food/beverage and retail areas

Don't worry, though. Mitchell officials aren't becoming vain. They know real beauty comes from within.
