Passengers
are required to have a boarding pass to get through
security checkpoints. Check with your airline
to find out its recommended procedure for obtaining
boarding passes.
1) All airlines issue
boarding passes from their ticket counter
location.
2) Some airlines allow
passengers to print a boarding pass from an internet
site using a home computer.
3) Some airlines issue
boarding passes at curbside check-in.
4) Some airlines have self-service machines in
the ticketing lobby that will print out boarding
passes.
5)
Boarding passes are issued by Midwest Airlines
near the entrance to Concourse D, and Northwest
Airlines near the entrance to Concourse E.
Passengers age 18 and
over should keep their current, valid, government-issued
photo ID (such as a drivers license or passport)
out and available until they board the
plane.
PACKING: Place food
and film in your CARRY-ON bag. Use this link to find out what other products may be placed in your CARRY-ON bag: TSA Carry-On Guidance.
Place
sharp objects and containers larger than 3 ounces of liquids, gels, lotions (such as shampoo, conditioner and other hair products), toothpaste and other creams in your CHECKED-IN bag. Do not lock
your CHECKED-IN bag OR you may use a TSA approved
lock, available at many retailers. Place personal
items in a clear plastic bag. Do not wrap gifts
that will be placed in either your carry-on or
checked bag. For more tips, use this link: TSA Travel Tips.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Most airlines advise that you arrive
an hour-and-a half to two hours before your flight is scheduled
to depart. The front drives are available for
active loading and unloading. Unattended
vehicles on the front drives will be towed immediately.
If you have carry-on baggage only AND a
boarding pass, you may proceed through the security
checkpoint to the gate. If you have luggage to
check, you must use curbside check-in or your
airline's ticket counter. Carry-ons are limited
to one bag and one personal item (purse, briefcase,
etc.) per passenger. Check with your airline about
further carry-on restrictions. Beverages and sharp items in
your carry-on luggage (scissors, nail files, Swiss
Army knives, etc.) may be confiscated at the security
checkpoint. Storage lockers are no longer available
at the airport. Only ticketed passengers are allowed
past concourse security checkpoints. Passengers
may be met at the entrance to the concourse or
in the baggage claim lobby.
