New Flight Displays are Plasma Perfect

With exquisite clarity and brightness, 70 new plasma display monitors will provide soothing relief to the 6 million passengers that traverse through General Mitchell International Airport each year.

The airport recently replaced bulky 20-year-old Flight Information Display System (FIDS) with sleek new high-tech plasma monitors.

The new easy-to-read screens feature brighter images and better picture quality. Travelers need only look for the city name to find complete flight information. Airport visitors can more quickly interpret information and determine where they need to go.

The new plasma monitors also make layover planning easier by indicating which stores, restaurants and services are located in each concourse.

Long gone are the days of searching terminals for one of 14 servicing airlines’ screens!
