Two lucky entrants will each win $500 in free airfare for a flight booked from MKE. Limit one $500 prize per person.

Fly Down Memory Lane Contest
July 27, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. through September 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
Presented by Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport
MKE is sponsoring a UGC (user-generated content) contest on social media to enter for a chance to win free airfare. This Contest is governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”).
Two grand prize winners will be selected under the criteria specified in these Official Rules.
All interpretations of the Official Rules and decisions relating to the Contest made by Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport are final.
Contest purchase period commences July 27, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. and ends September 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (“Registration Period”).
All entries must be posted to Instagram or Facebook following the Official Rules by September 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
The Contest is open to anyone 18 years or older at the time of entry during the Registration Period (“Participants”).
Participants need not make a purchase to win.
Employees and/or contractors of Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport and/or Milwaukee County are not eligible to enter or win the Contest.
Participants must have a valid public Instagram or Facebook profile.
Any and all submissions posted to private accounts will not be included in the Fly Down Memory Lane Contest.
Contestants can enter from July 27, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. to September 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. by posting a reel, carousel, or photo post to their public Instagram and/or Facebook profile describing their true memories involving Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport.
All entries must tag @mitchellairport on Instagram and/or MKE – Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport on Facebook.
All entries must be posted to public profiles.
All entries must include #FlyDownMemoryLaneMKE100 in the caption.
Multiple entries may be submitted by Participants.
The odds of winning depend on the number of completed entries and submission quality.
No purchase from Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport is necessary.
By participating in this Contest, Participants:
- Agree to be bound by these Official Rules, by the interpretations of these Official Rules by Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, and by the decisions of Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport.
- Agree to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations, and the Official Rules.
By participating in this Contest, Participants also agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and release Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, and any entity involved in the creation, operation, or fulfillment of the Contest and their respective agents, employees, elected officials, officers, directors, successors and assigns from and against all claims, injuries, or damages arising out of or relating to participation in the Contest; the use, misuse, or redemption of the prizes; and for any claim, including claims based on defamation, publicity rights, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, or any other intellectual property-related cause of action.
Participants must post a reel, carousel, or photo post to their public Instagram and/or Facebook profile outlining a positive memory with Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport from the last 100 years.
Entries must tag @mitchellairport on Instagram and/or MKE – Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport on Facebook.
Entries must include #FlyDownMemoryLaneMKE100.
Entries must be posted by September 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
There will be two grand prize winners selected from all entries.
Winners will follow all Official Rules and submit the highest-scoring posts using the rubric below.
The grand prize winners will each be awarded $500 in free airfare departing from Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport.
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value and to award additional prizes to other Participants other than the Winners.
All applicable taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of a prize not specifically provided for in these Official Rules, are solely the Winners’ responsibility.
The Winners will be selected from all eligible entries posted by September 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport reserves the right to select alternative Winners if any potential Winner fails to comply with these Official Rules.
The Winners will be notified by September 21, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. via the public Instagram or Facebook profile used to post the submission.
Every attempt will be made to contact the Winners.
Winners who do not reply by 5:00 p.m. on September 24, 2026 will forfeit their prize.
Winners will be invited to attend Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport’s Centennial Celebration on October 5, 2026.
Winners will be announced on Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport’s owned social media pages on October 6.
Prizes will be awarded by Boelter + Lincoln for Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport.
Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are non-assignable and nontransferable. No substitutions are allowed by Winners. Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
Submission of an entry grants Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport the right, except where prohibited by law, to use the Participant’s winning social media post, name, likeness, picture, address limited to city and state, voice, biographical information, and written or oral statements for promotional purposes in promoting or publicizing Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport and its products or services, without compensation unless required by law.
The potential Winners must prove eligibility, including, without limitation, proof of age, residence and identity.
This may include submitting a copy of a birth certificate, driver’s license, passport or similar government-issued identification within three days of being notified as a potential Winner.
In the event of non-compliance by a potential Winner, that potential Winner shall be disqualified and all privileges otherwise due as the Winner shall be terminated.
An alternative potential Winner may, in Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport’s sole discretion, be chosen from among all remaining eligible entries received.
To be eligible to be declared a Winner and receive a prize, the potential Winner must sign, within five days of receipt, an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release:
- Releasing Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport from any and all liability, loss, claims, demands, and causes of action relating to participating in this Contest.
- Granting Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport the right to use the potential Winner’s name, picture and/or likeness, or biographical information for publicity purposes, in any media now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, consideration or notification.
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport expressly reserves the right to delay the announcement of the Winners for any reason Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport deems necessary.
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport is not responsible if the Contest cannot take place, or if any prize cannot be awarded, due to events outside of the reasonable control of Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport.
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest or any part of the Contest.
Any violation of these Official Rules by a Winner will result in that Winner’s disqualification as a Winner of the Contest and all privileges as a Winner will be immediately terminated.
There is no limit to the number of completed entries submitted by Participants by September 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m., subject to the conditions contained in these Rules.
All information submitted by Participants is subject to and will be treated in accordance with Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policies accessible at FlyMKE.com.
All information provided by Participants may be subject to disclosure under the Wisconsin Freedom of Information Act, court order, or other rule of law.
By submitting an entry in this Contest, the Participant represents that:
- He or she has the right to submit the entry.
- All persons whose name or likeness appear in the entry have unconditionally consented, in writing, to allow their name or likeness in the entry, and a copy of that writing will be furnished to Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport upon request.
- The entry does not infringe upon any third party’s proprietary or other rights.
