FRONTIER AIRLINES ANNOUNCES NONSTOP FLIGHTS TO AUSTIN AND RALEIGH-DURHAM


MILWAUKEE (February 8, 2018) – Frontier Airlines will begin nonstop flights from General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) to Autin, Tex. and Raleigh-Durham, N.C. in April. Withe these two new routes, Frontier now offers 10 nonstop destinations from MKE.

NEW AIRLINES PROPEL MKE TO 2017 PASSENGER TRAFFIC INCREASE


MILWAUKEE (February 7, 2018) – Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele today announced that General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) recorded a 2.2% increase in total passenger traffic for 2017.

MKE SELECTED FOR NEW SKYWEST MAINTENANCE FACILITY


MILWAUKEE (January 11, 2018) – Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele has announced that SkyWest Airlines has purchased a double hangar complex from Milwaukee County. At 190,000 square-feet, the new facility will be SkyWest’s largest maintenance facility, based on square footage.

MKE PASSENGERS SOAR MORE THAN SEVEN PERCENT IN NOVEMBER

MILWAUKEE (January 10, 2018) – Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele today announced that air passenger traffic at General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) increased 7.4% in November, compared to November 2016.
